This assignment came in as a pleasant surprise as we are so glad to be engaged by The Little Wardrobe @ OUB Centre to do a series of photo shoot for their new arrival of clothes from Oobi, Australia. Lovely dresses for the princesses.

Chantel was also chosen to be the little model for this series and sure we are really really excited to take some really nice photos for her.

It’s always a challenge to take photos for young children and it was even more challenging to take advertisement worthy photos as they will required to change quite a number of clothing on the day especially in Singapore Weather condition…HOT n HUMID ! but the results are heartwarming

Might not have alot of photos inside yet as there are just too many photos that we like Anyway, this is just the begining of the year and with more weddings to come this year! some of the month, especially after June will be very busy. So more photos to come.

One thing for me, I hope FB will have better quality album! Something blog is much better in showcasing photos, the photo in their good form.

Gotten quite abit of query of how did I managed to take those photos? Well, you just have to be very quick in action and of course a good camera helps. As with most children, they have very little attention span so it always good to have the idea of how you want to take the photo before hand. Normally I will look out for – 1. Location – some nice background, 2. See the light – if there are adequate or nice lighting condition and 3. think of some poses! yes…children can pose too! A helper will be handy, in this case my wife… while I am doing the setting of the camera, my wife will get ready her.

Most of the photos were taken within a very short time, in the matter of seconds! and it’s almost like … you put her there, ask her to do something and then snap and next. Being a wedding photographer helps too, we are used to ‘moment’ shots!

My first post for the year 2011! and it will be the beautiful wedding of ZhiRong and KaiLi. Their actual day wedding is a simple yet heartwarming affair. You may not find the traditional gate crashing or the loud ‘yum seng’ toasting but in exchange was a elegant and well planned wedding with lots of blessing from family, relatives and friends.

I might have super ears that day as while doing my routine paparazzi sniper shots, I kept hearing “the bride is so beautiful” and I do agree. In fact in my opinion, both of them looks good on their precious day. There are quite a lot of photos that I really like, due to good available lights and the wonderful venue, it just turn out good. Thanks God for the weather too! it only began to rain a little after the first half of the celebration just before the afternoon break session. Infact that gave me the idea to take group photos indoor and well, is a really good choice. I will let the photos speaks for themselves.

Wishing both of them a blessed and wonderful marriage life! Thank you once again for choosing me as your photographer and as a friend too

Remembered I first met them quite a long while ago, when I just embarked into wedding photography. Although I have been taking photos for quite sometime, I have not much experience in digital output and post editing. I knew and confident that my deliverables can be improved and my burning passion will bring up my level as I progress, very little people will want to take the risk of a newbie wedding photographer wannabe. Yenting and Xuanhong is one of those couples who really trusted me, not because my starting price is lower (not that low actually) but I knew they do have confidence in my work or at least gave me a important chance to progress.

A wedding day is no small matter, especially when couple have spent so much time, money and effort to prepare for the day not to be spoilt by the photographer who fail to capture the moment of the event.

I was also looking for couple for pre-wedding portfolio at that time and somehow, we found a win-win situation to take their pre-wedding as well and for that I gets to spend considerable amount of time with them on discussion and gets to know them more. I went through the full wedding photography process with them starting from interest to engaging my services, discussion till fulfillment of pre and actual wedding photography, so this actually the complete cycle of my wedding business model.

Once again, thank you Yenting and Xuanhong so much for trusting me and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process with both of you and be blessed with a wonderful wedding

It’s reminds me of my own love life since I also got to know my wife from school and we started courtship just after secondary school days. Many goes through puppy love and as far as I know, very few couples actually gets together especially after a long courtship.

The ROM is special to me as it’s the first time I have attended a ROM being held at their secondary school with the blessing from classmates, good friends and also relative. Not a massive event but a meaningful and heart warming moment.

I wish them a happy fairy tale ROM and happy ever after
